Manfred Meurer (actor)

Manfred Erich Meurer (born December 11, 1908 in Duisburg , † February 1979 ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Manfred Meurer completed an acting training from 1931 to 1933 at the Dumont-Lindemann-Schule in Düsseldorf. His first theater role in 1932 was that of “Kosinsky” in Schiller's drama “ The Robbers ” at the Städtische Bühnen in Düsseldorf. He had other engagements in Oberhausen, Eisenach, Beuthen, Memel, Posen, Kattowitz and Berlin. In 1935 he got his first role in a movie in the film adaptation of I Was Jack Mortimer . After the war Meurer lived in Berlin and from 1950 had several engagements at RIAS .
