Manfred Schröbler (born April 8, 1934 - May 23, 2015 ) was a soccer goalkeeper from the GDR .

Schröbler attended school in Grevesmühlen and initially played for the BSG unit Grevesmühlen . Later he went to BSG Motor Warnowwerft Warnemünde with whom he played in the GDR league , season 1, in 1954/55 .

Between 1956 and 1969 he played for the SC Empor Rostock and after the separation of the soccer department from the club for the FC Hansa Rostock. Schröbler played a total of 122 Oberliga , 26 league , two European Cup and 15 FDGB Cup games for the first team of the Hanseatic League. He played his first competitive game on June 3, 1956 in the league; at the end of the season up rose as bottom of the table in the league . In 1957 the team reached the final of the FDGB Cup as the second division. Schröbler was in the final in Karl-Marx-Stadt between the posts and lost to the league club SC Lok Leipzig 1: 2 after extra time. In the same year, he was promoted to the league again. In the following 1958 season and in the 1962/63 season , Schröbler played in all league games. In the 1963/64 season he was again replaced by Jürgen Heinsch as the goalkeeper. In 1965/66 and 1966/67 Schröbler did not come to the top division any more. In 1967/68 he was only brought on again for the injured Peter Below in the 60th minute in Karl-Marx-Stadt and conceded two goals in the 3-0 defeat by Eberhard Vogel . In 1966/67 he won the Rostock district championship with the second team, rose to the league and also played for the second team in 1967/68.

In the first round of the 1968/69 trade fair cup against OGC Nice , Schröbler made two more international appearances. Hansa moved into the next round with a 4: 2 after both games. In this, however, he had lost his place to the 19-year-old Dieter Schneider . Schröbler played his last league game for Rostock on November 2, 1968.

After his time at Hansa, Schröbler again guarded the gate at his youth club Einheit Grevesmühlen. In 1975 he reached promotion to the league with him.
