The sculpture Man and Woman in Bremen - Center in the Bremen ramparts near the Herdentor is included in the list of monuments and statues of the city of Bremen .

The sculpture from 1992 made of cast iron on a concrete base comes from the sculptor Christa Baumgärtel . According to the cultural authority, the artist reduced and abstracted the figures “in 'man and woman' to their basic form so that they become universal symbols for both sexes.
