Marco Augusto Quiroa
Marco Augusto Quiroa (born May 7, 1937 in Chicacao , † November 1, 2004 in Amatitlán ) was a Guatemalan painter and writer .
In the 1950s, Quiroa became known in Central America through numerous exhibitions of his paintings and as a writer of various short stories .
Quiroa succumbed to prolonged cancer.
