Marcos Ferreira Xavier ( Azerbaijani Markos Ferrera Xave ; born February 18, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian soccer player who has had Azerbaijani citizenship since 2007.
Before moving from Brazil, Marcos played for Corinthians Alagoano from Maceió . In the summer of 2005 he moved to the Azerbaijani 1st League for FK Karvan Yevlax . There he became a regular player of the club. In order to advance Azerbaijani football, especially in terms of the national team, he took citizenship in 2007 like several other Brazilian players in Azerbaijan and was thus able to compete for Azerbaijan . The hoped-for upswing broke up quickly and so he came to few missions.
