Maria Keohane
Maria Keohane (born May 13, 1971 in Manchester ) is a Swedish singer (soprano).
Life
Maria Keohane was born in Manchester in 1971 and grew up in Sweden. She studied at the University of Gothenburg and the Royal Opera Academy in Copenhagen . She works as an opera and oratorio singer in the field of early music and has collaborated with the European Union's Baroque Orchestra for the CD project Pure Handel .

- 2005: Reumert Talent Award for the role of Armida in Georg Friedrich Händel's Rinaldo
- 2013: Prize of the German Record Critics for the recording of Matthias Weckmann's sacred concerts
