Mark J. Reardon

Mark J. Reardon (born October 22, 1957 ) is an American historian .

Reardon studied history at Loyola College , Baltimore , graduating in 1979 with a bachelor's degree . He then went on to become an officer in the United States Army . He received his Masters in International Relations from Troy University . He served in the United States, Korea , Germany , Haiti, and Saudi Arabia . Since 2002 he has been a historian at the United States Army Center of Military History . After retiring from the military in 2006, he remained there as a civilian employee . He specializes in World War II and the War on Terror .
