Martin Bruckner

Martin Bruckner (born December 5, 1964 in Vienna ) is an Austrian manager and sports official . Since 2019 he has been the club president of SK Rapid Vienna .

Life

Buckner worked from 1985 to 1987 for Erste Vermögensanlage- und Beteiligungen Ges.mbH and from 1987 to 1989 for Sparinvest Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH . Since 1990 he has worked in various functions at Allianz . Bruckner has been a member of the Board of Management of Allianz Investmentbank AG since 1999 .

Bruckner had been a member of the executive committee of SK Rapid Wien under Michael Krammer since 2013 and was active as a finance officer. On November 25, 2019, he was elected as the new president in the first battle vote in the club's 120-year history. He and his team received 1059 votes (53.35%), Roland Schmid and his team received 929 votes (46.65%).

Bruckner is married and has two children.
