Career

Hahn, who competes for the VSC Klingenthal , completed his first international competitions in February 2012 as part of the Alpine Cup in Winterberg . After missing the points several times, he reached twelfth place in Tschagguns in September 2014 . Hahn made his Continental Cup debut in Ramsau on February 13, 2016 , where he was able to collect his first Continental Cup points with an eighteenth and twelfth place. Shortly thereafter, Hahn started at the Junior World Championships in Râșnov, Romania . Although he was sixth in the Gundersen competition over 10 km, he was not nominated for the sprint. However, he was part of the 4 × 5 km relay, which consisted of Tim Kopp , Terence Weber and Vinzenz Geiger and won silver.

At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, Hahn competed in the Alpine Cup again, where he won the opening competition in Winterberg. After further good placements, Hahn finally took sixth place in the overall Alpine Cup ranking. Hahn celebrated his greatest success in the junior division at the 2017 Junior World Championships in Park City when he won bronze in an individual competition. A short time later he made his debut in the Japanese Sapporo in the World Cup , but missed the points.

In summer 2017 he won his first points in the Grand Prix in Oberwiesenthal with a 19th place . After finishing fifteenth in Planica , he finished 40th overall in the 2017 Grand Prix . After he competed almost without exception in the Continental Cup in winter 2017/18, he did not compete again until summer 2018 at the Grand Prix competition in Oberwiesenthal at the highest level. Once again, he made it into the points in twentieth.

In the 2018/19 Continental Cup season , Hahn regularly scored points and was also on the podium for the first time when he finished second with the team in Ruka . In February Hahn was nominated by head trainer Hermann Weinbuch for the World Cup weekend in Lahti . Together with Wendelin Thannheimer , he finished fourteenth in the team sprint, before winning his first World Cup point a day later in the Gundersen competition. He finished the World Cup season last in 68th place in the overall standings.
