Martin Scholz (journalist)
Martin Scholz (born December 29, 1963 in Gütersloh ) is a German journalist .
Life
Scholz is responsible for the series of interviews in the "Cover Subject" section of " Welt am Sonntag ". Prior to that, he was head of department for the Frankfurter Rundschau magazine and before that he was a reporter at FR. He was responsible for the interview series The Talk in the Politics section of the Rundschau.
His interviews with Sting , U2 , Paul McCartney , Iggy Pop , Herbert Grönemeyer , The Who and the Rolling Stones have appeared among others. a. im Stern , the Süddeutsche Zeitung , the Zeit and the German edition of Rolling Stone . In 2007 he published a collection of interviews from 20 years of band history for the reunification of The Police .
Scholz lives in Frankfurt am Main .
