Martin Stixrud (born February 9, 1876 in Oslo , † January 8, 1964 ibid) was a Norwegian figure skater who started in a single run .

At the age of 44 years and 77 days, he won bronze in the men's figure skating at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp . He is the oldest winner of an Olympic medal in an individual competition in winter sports .

At the European Championship in 1912 , he won the bronze medal and after the break through the First World War , he was in 1923 in the domestic Oslo Vice European Champion behind Willy Böckl . Stixrud took part in four world championships . His best result was fourth place in 1922 . To this day he holds the record at Norwegian figure skating championships with his ten national titles (1913 and 1916 to 1924).

After finishing his active sports career, he was also a figure skating coach. One of his students was Sonja Henie .
