Matthias Brenner (born September 10, 1957 in Meiningen ) is a German actor , director , author and general manager .

Life

Matthias Brenner was born in 1957 as the son of the actor Carl Rüdiger Brenner (1924–1984) in Meiningen, southern Thuringia, where he also spent his childhood. He made his first acquaintance with the theater as an amateur actor at the Meininger Theater . He later studied acting from 1979 to 1982 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . His first engagements took him to Annaberg-Buchholz and from 1985 to 1990 to Erfurt . Today Matthias Brenner lives in Berlin and Halle (Saale) .
