Matti Sudden ( Lule Smirjjo ) is a small town ( småort ) in northern Sweden the Jokkmokk municipality in the Swedish province of Norrbotten County and the historic province (landskap) Lapland .

The place is located on Lilla Luleälven about nine kilometers from Jokkmokk on Riksväg 97 . There is a railway connection via the Geografiska polcirkeln (German: Arctic Circle ) stop on the inland railway, four kilometers away .
