The McCarty Glacier is about 12.5 km long from the Harding Icefield fed glacier on the east coast of the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska .

McCarty Glacier is 60 km southwest of Seward in Kenai Fjords National Park . The 2 km wide glacier flows in a south-southwest direction and flows into the head end of McCarty Fjord . To the east the glacier is flanked by the 1951  m high McCarty Peak . The glacier is retreating.

The glacier was named by the US Geological Survey in 1911 after William McCarty, who was based in Seward.
