Melanie Riedl

Melanie Riedl (born April 29, 1974 ) is a former German skeleton pilot .

Melanie Riedl from BSC Munich made her debut in February 2000 as 13th in a World Cup race in Winterberg . At the German Championships of the year she came in third place and thus achieved her best placement in this competition. Then it was initially used primarily in the newly created European Skeleton Cup . In the first season, she came third twice in three races, in Altenberg and Königssee , on the podium and finished second in the overall standings behind Sylvia Liebscher . Riedl was still active until the German Championships in 2006, which she finished ninth.
