Djedanchre Mentuemsaf (also Montemsaf ) was an Egyptian king ( pharaoh ) of the Second Intermediate Period (approx. 1780 - 1550 BC).

Djedanchre Mentuemsaf is only known from a block of gels , an ax blade and two scarabs .

classification

Its exact classification is uncertain. Kim Ryholt places him in his 16th dynasty , Jürgen von Beckerath in the 13th dynasty . Since the ruler does not appear in any list of kings , any chronological determination remains speculative for the time being . His throne name is created according to the pattern Dd + x + ra. It is therefore usually placed in the temporal proximity with other rulers of this name formation ( Djedhotepre Dedumose , Djedneferre Dedumose ). But these other rulers cannot really be classified with certainty.
