Mequon is a town in Ozaukee County in the southeast of the US -amerikanischen state of Wisconsin . It is located about 20 km north of Milwaukee on Lake Michigan and is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area .

Mequon is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area and is the residential suburb of Milwaukee. There are around 100 golf courses in the vicinity.

The town's showpiece is its high school , Homestead High . This has good learning conditions, there are three soccer fields, a football stadium, an indoor athletics track and a swimming pool with Olympic-compatible swimming lanes and diving towers. The climate is very hot and sometimes humid in summer (from May), in winter (from October) it gets very cold, sometimes up to minus 20 degrees.
