Meredith Stiehm

Meredith Stiehm (* 1969 in Madison , Wisconsin ) is an American producer and screenwriter . She grew up in Santa Monica , California , where she lives today.

Life

She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English and Theater in 1990 . Her 1993 musical "Rules for Girls" was nominated for Musical of the Year by LA Weekly magazine . She has also written plays such as Little Rosa , Holiday House / Between the White Curtains and Hallelujah Junction .

For NYPD Blue Stiehm was for the 1998 and 1999 Emmy nominated. She is also the writer and producer of the television series Emergency Room . As co-producer of this series, she was nominated for an Emmy in 2001. In addition, she was involved as a screenwriter on Alaska and Beverly Hills, 90210, of all places.
