Merle Barth (born April 21, 1994 in Waldbröl ) is a German soccer player .
Career
societies
Merle Barth moved from SSV Homburg-Nümbrecht to Bayer 04 Leverkusen's youth department in January 2009 . There she first played for the B-Juniors and with them managed to qualify for the intermediate round of the German B-Junior Championships in 2011 . She made her Bundesliga debut in the championship game against FCR 2001 Duisburg on November 6, 2010 , when she came on for Kerstin Stein in the 86th minute . She has been a member of the Leverkusen national league squad since the 2011/12 season and scored her first Bundesliga goal on the last match day of the 2012/13 season in the match against VfL Sindelfingen with the goal that made it 1-1. Due to a torn cruciate ligament in February 2014 , she had to take a long break, but immediately after her comeback in February 2015 she was back in the regular formation before tearing a cruciate ligament again in the last game of the 2014/15 season against SC Sand . In summer 2020, Barth moved to league competitor 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam .
National team
Barth made his debut on December 14, 2010 in the U-17 national team in the international test match against Israel. Two days later she scored her only international goal - again against Israel. In 2011 she took part in the U-17 European Championship in Nyon and came to her only tournament appearance in the game for third place, which Germany won 8-2 against Iceland. On November 21, 2012, she made her debut for the German U-19 national team in a 4-0 friendly win against Sweden when she came into play after half-time for Sarah Romert . In 2013 she qualified with this team for the European vintage championships in Wales , where she was eliminated in the semi-finals against France.
