Mišo Broz

Aleksandar "Mišo" Broz (born May 24, 1941 in Zagreb , Independent State of Croatia ) is a former Croatian diplomat. He is the only child of the former Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito (1892–1980) with his second wife Herta Haas (1914–2010). From 2004 to 2009 he was Croatia's ambassador to Indonesia . Broz also worked diplomatically in Russia and Egypt .

Broz's parents met in 1937 when Tito was general secretary of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia . The couple married in 1940 and then lived together in Zagreb until the Wehrmacht invaded in April 1941 . Shortly before Broz 'birth, Tito left his pregnant wife and fled from the fascists to Belgrade . A few weeks after the proclamation of the Independent State of Croatia , Broz was born in the capital of the newly created vassal state .

Broz holds the rights to several trademarks that affect his father.
