Michael Gregg Wilson OBE (born January 21, 1942 in New York City ) is an American film producer and screenwriter .

Life

As the son of actor Lewis Wilson and author Dana Broccoli and stepson of Albert R. Broccoli , he first graduated from Harvey Mudd College as an electrical engineer. He then studied law at Stanford University and later worked for the US government. He eventually became a partner in a Washington law firm specializing in international law.

In 1972, Wilson joined the film production company Eon Productions Ltd. in legal and administrative roles. hired and advanced to production assistant for the Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me . He was eventually named executive producer for Moonraker and the two subsequent Bond films In A Deadly Mission and Octopussy . Since On Fatal Mission , he has also been a creative co-scriptwriter in the making of the Bond films.

Together with his stepfather Albert R. Broccoli, who has since died, he later produced the films In the Face of Death , The Living Daylight and License to Kill . With Broccoli’s daughter and half-sister Barbara Broccoli , Wilson has been responsible for the production of the James Bond series since GoldenEye (1995) .
