Michael Hoffman (director)
Michael Hoffman (born November 30, 1956 in Hawaii , United States) is an American film director , screenwriter and film producer .
Life
Michael Hoffman graduated from Boise State University , where he received the Rhodes Scholarship . His first feature film, Privileged, with the young Hugh Grant , was made in 1982 while studying at Oriel College .
His 1988 film Some Girls received an award at the Vancouver International Film Festival .
