Michael Standish

Michael Standish is a production designer .

Life

Standish began his career on the film staff as an electrician in 1996, after which he was responsible for several years of purchasing at various British film productions, including Whispers of Grass and Bridget Jones - Chocolate for Breakfast . At the end of the 2000s he began working as a production designer, and a few years later he also worked on major Hollywood productions such as Captain America: The First Avenger . Together with Eve Stewart, he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Production Design for The Danish Girl in 2016 .
