description

The listed rental villa , including the pavilion and enclosure, is a two-story residential building. It has an asymmetrical floor plan on a rubble stone base and a tiled hipped roof that has been developed for residential purposes. The rental villa is one of the few Radebeul buildings with brick facades. The brick building is stylized as a German early Renaissance .

In the street view there is a risalit with a volute gable, the upper half of which was made of sandstone. To the right of the risalit there is a two-storey, glazed loggia in sandstone in front of the reserve . On the left edge of the building with a view of the Elbe there is a polygonal, three-storey corner tower with a curved dome with a ball and point.

In the left side view to the south and thus to the garden there is also a risalit with a volute gable. In the corner at the back of the property to the south-west there is a subsequently added stairwell. In the north-facing right side view there is a two-storey staircase projection with the roofed house entrance.

The facade is structured and decorated with sandstone cornices, ribbons and individual blocks. The windows are framed by sandstone elements, some of which have roofs or curtain arch motifs. Few of the windows are not rectangular, but rather arched. The windows in the risalits are grouped into triplet windows.

On the left in the south-facing garden is the octagonal pavilion . It is listed as a single monument with the identification Rennerbergstraße 9005 ( location ). There are large arched windows under his tent roof .

The fencing of the double property consists of a lancet fence, which stands on sandstone blocks, which in turn cover a quarry stone wall. The wrought-iron, double-winged entrance gate and the adjacent pedestrian gate stand between brick pillars.

history

In May 1901, the Privatus Carl August Böhmer applied for permission to build a villa based on a design by the Große brothers . Approval was issued in June and the authorities were notified of the completion of construction in December of that year.

An octagonal garden pavilion was built in the garden in 1926 based on a design by the Dresden architect Georg Weber (* 1888). In 1939 the Radebeul architect Albert Patitz was commissioned to add a staircase to the building.

According to the address book from 1922/23, the house belonged to the pastry chef, trade school director and non-fiction author Erich Weber (1885–1961), also in 1939, while in 1939 the ground floor was occupied by the factory owner Karl Thoenes.
