Mihály Hajdú

Mihály Hajdu (born January 30, 1909 in Orosháza , † July 23, 1990 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian composer.

Hajdú studied at the Budapest Conservatory with Zoltán Kodály and then worked as a pianist. In 1949 he became a piano teacher and in 1961 a professor at the music college. He composed an opera , a symphonic poem, a suite , a piano and a clarinet concerto, chamber music works, piano and flute pieces, choirs and songs .
