The four associate professors included a pharmacist and a botanist . Among the six adjunct professors was a mineralogist . There were also two adjunct laboratories and six prosectors (2 for anatomy, 2 for pathological anatomy, 1 for general pathology and 1 for physiology). The academy had no dean , but a so-called learned secretary, for example the hygienist Alexei P. Dobrosslawin . The 803 students were spread over the five-year course. The German student union Nevania existed at the academy .
