Mininnguaq Kleist
Mininnguaq Kleist (born July 27, 1973 in Nuuk ) is a Greenlandic civil servant , diplomat and badminton player .
Life
Mininnguaq Kleist is the son of the civil servant Kaj Kleist (* 1943) and his wife Else Hansen (* 1950). His younger brother is the filmmaker Malik Kleist (* 1977).
He graduated from Aarhus University with a candidate degree in philosophy in 2004 . From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a secretary in the Folketing . From 2007 to 2009 he was Head of Department of the Greenland Prime Minister. He was then head of the foreign ministry for three years and then head of the foreign ministry. From 2013 to 2016 he was the Prime Minister's Director. Since 2016 he has been the Greenlandic representative to the European Union .
Career
Mininnguaq Kleist won three junior titles in Greenland before his first success in 2003 in the adults. Six more titles followed by 2011.
