The Saarland Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection is one of seven ministries of the Saarland . The ministry has been headed by Minister of Social Affairs Monika Bachmann ( CDU ) since November 13, 2014 , and State Secretary is Stephan Kolling .

history

There were no ministries in the Saarland administrative commission, which was in office from 1946 to 1947 . Richard Kirn was the director of labor . In 1947 the ministry was established as the Ministry of Labor and Welfare . From 2004 to 2009, responsibilities were divided between four other ministries. Most recently, in 2012, the “Labor” area was outsourced to the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
