Justin Berkmann, DJ and co-founder: “My concept for Ministry of Sound was as follows: 100% sound system first, lightshow second, design third; the reversal of the relevance of other clubs. ”The peak value of the sound system is 150 dB (A). Label

The Ministry Of Sound label has been around for more than 15 years. Ministry of Sound Germany GmbH is a Berlin record company that was founded in the late summer of 2001. It is closely linked to the London parent label, which in turn belongs to the MSHK Group, but can still be seen as an independent company. In 2006 Ministry of Sound took over the Hed Kandi label . The Ministry of Sound Germany GmbH has been operating under the name Embassy of Music GmbH since the beginning of September 2010 . The renaming is intended to illustrate the stylistic opening of the independent label, which originally specialized in dance, to artists such as Carla Bruni , Moby , Oceana or Nena and a signal for independence from the former British parent company Ministry of Sound London, which was involved in the German branch until 2007 can be achieved.

Apart from the compilation projects , Ministry of Sound Germany also has artists directly under contract, e.g. B. Shaggy , Carla Bruni, Simply Red , Robyn or Calvin Harris . There are also releases by DJs such as Eric Prydz , Fedde Le Grand , Laurent Wolf , Plastik Funk and Bob Sinclar . The label's better-known hits include Love Generation by Bob Sinclar, Feel The Rush by Shaggy, Call On Me by Eric Prydz and Let Me Think About It by Ida Corr vs. Fedde Le Grand. In 2009 newcomers such as Oceana , The Dø and Mikroboy joined the label's repertoire.
