Mirko Pätzold
Mirko Pätzold (born April 9, 1976 in Strausberg ) is a German bobsleigh athlete .
Mirko Pätzold is a sports soldier in the German Armed Forces and starts for the BRC Riesa . The former sprinter has been active as a push / brake in bobsleigh since 1998. He rode in the sleighs of Matthias Benesch , Matthias Höpfner , Karl Angerer and currently with Thomas Florschütz . In many cases Pätzold was able to place in two-man and four-man bobsleigh races, several times even on the podium. The best results were second places in the four- man bobsleigh in 1999 in St. Moritz and 2007 in Lake Placid in the two-man bobsleigh. In 2007 he won the German championship titles in both the two-man and four-man bobsled by Florschütz.
