Mirko Soltau (born January 13, 1980 in Dresden ) is a German football player .

Career

Mirko Soltau learned to play football at the age of five at Dynamo Dresden . His first position in the men's area was FV Dresden-Nord , after which the left-footed player played with the regional and upper division clubs FC Augsburg , 1. FC Union Berlin , FC Sachsen Leipzig and VFC Plauen . In the 2008/09 season he completed 30 games for Plauen in the Regionalliga Nord and scored eight goals. The highlight of the season was the 4-1 win against SV Babelsberg 03 , when the midfielder scored all four goals for VFC. Soltau was a top performer of his team and thus attracted the interest of higher class clubs.

On June 19, 2009, Mirko Soltau signed a two-year contract with third division team Dynamo Dresden and played nine games for SG Dynamo in the 2009/10 season . His first game on July 25, 2009 against VfB Stuttgart II was also his professional debut. In the 2010/11 season Soltau played as captain for the second team of Dresden in the fifth-class Oberliga Nordost . For the 2011/12 season he joined the Sachsenligisten Heidenauer SV , with whom he was promoted to the Oberliga Nordost . Since the beginning of the 2013/14 season, Mirko Soltau has been playing for the newly promoted Saxon state league SV See 90 .

So far, Soltau has played a total of nine games in the 3rd division and 58 games in the regional league , in which he was able to enter the top scorer list eleven times. There were also two appearances in the DFB Cup .
