Faruk Tajfur or Mohammed Farouk Tayfour ( Arabic محمد فاروق طيفور, DMG Muḥammad Fārūq Ṭayfūr ) is the Vice-Chairman or "Vice-Leader" of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria .

On November 9, 2012, Tajfur was elected to the General Secretariat and Vice President of the Syrian National Council. On July 6, 2013, Mohammed Faruk Tajfur was also elected Vice-President of the National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces , the most important opposition group in the Syrian Civil War . The Syrian National Council is part of the national coalition.
