Mohammed Karim Lamrani

Mohammed Karim Lamrani ( Arabic محمد كريم العمراني, DMG Muḥammad Karīm al-ʿAmrānī ; * May 1, 1919 in Fez ; † September 20, 2018 in Casablanca ) was Prime Minister of Morocco .

Lamrani became wealthy as a businessman in Morocco and acted as economic advisor to the Moroccan government.

Lamrani was Prime Minister of Morocco from August 6, 1971 to November 2, 1972 . He had a second term from November 30, 1983 to September 30, 1986. A third term followed on August 11, 1992 to May 25, 1994. Lamrani was politically independent because he was not a member of any party.

Beginning in 1967, Karim Lamrani was General Director of the state phosphate company Office Chérifien des Phosphates for more than 25 years .
