Moritz Pauli (politician)

Moritz Karl Otto Pauli (born December 24, 1838 in Ottendorf ; † April 7, 1917 in Eberswalde ) was a German high school professor , politician and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Pauli attended grammar school in Lauban and the universities of Halle and Berlin , where he studied mathematics and natural sciences. Since October 1862 he was a teacher in Landsberg , Luckenwalde , Rathenow and then rector of the Realprogymnasien in Luckenwalde and Eberswalde. Most recently he was first senior teacher and professor with the rank of councilor fourth class at the grammar school Eberswalde, where he retired after 40 years of service.

From 1893 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Potsdam 5 ( Oberbarnim ) and the German Reich Party . He was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1898 to 1908 .

He was a bearer of the Red Eagle Order IV. Class , the Crown Order III. Class and the commemorative medal for the inauguration of the Wilhelm I.
