Mortuarium (necrology)

The mortuary is in monasteries, a Book of the Dead and an obituary . This register lists the deceased religious of a particular order. The names are read out regularly during the monastic liturgy . In many Capuchin monasteries, for example, a book is open in front of the choir with the current date, which shows all the names of the Capuchins who died on that day.
