The Heiner Beckmann motorcycle museum, based in the Harsewinkel town of Greffen in the Gütersloh district of North Rhine-Westphalia, is a privately run museum of the history of technology .

The museum was founded in 1990 by Heiner Beckmann (1946–2014). The exhibition covers around 1000 m² in an old half-timbered farm with several buildings, 180 motorized two-wheelers , the oldest of which was built in 1898 (a motorized tricycle) and the newest is an MZ Silver Star from the 1990s, as well as a number of four-wheeled vehicles Vehicles, in particular tractors for outdoor use. One building is dedicated to historical two- and four-wheelers from the former GDR.

A doll exhibition is also integrated in the museum.

The collection with a focus on “German motorcycles” such as BMW , DKW , Horex and NSU also includes such extraordinary types as a Gritzner from 1903, a Hulla , a Raymo and a Velocette with a boxer engine.

The museum is known nationwide as the organizer of the Spökenkieker-Fahrt, a rally for motorized vehicles that were built before 1915, making this event the only continental European classic car parallel event to the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run in England , in which only vehicles from the ancient days May participate before the First World War .
