Movum

The magazine movum - Debate magazine of the environmental movement (until September 2017 movum - Letters on Transformation ) is an environmental policy periodical . It wants to build on the history of the Ecological Manifesto , which played a role in the environmental debate in the 1970s. The editors are leaders of the environmental organizations BUND , Deutsche Umweltstiftung , Euronatur , FÖS and Naturfreunde as well as the DGB . Each issue is dedicated to a single topic. The publication is funded by the Federal Environment Ministry and the environmental umbrella organization DNR .

In addition to authors from the participating associations, scientists such as Paul Crutzen and ministers such as Barbara Hendricks write for the print and online magazine. Feedback and discussion with readers are expressly desired.

The German Environmental Foundation writes about movum: "Our view is not what is apparently feasible, but what is necessary that we want to make feasible."

The print edition was until early 2016 for free the Economic and Sustainability magazine enormously and is since then the magazines Political Ecology and Futurzwei at.
