The Museum am Dom Trier (until 2010 Episcopal Cathedral and Diocesan Museum ) is a museum of the Diocese of Trier , which has the task of researching the cultural and religious history of the Diocese of Trier and making it accessible to the public. In addition, the museum researches the late antiquity predecessor buildings of the Trier Cathedral , the oldest German episcopal church.

The collection includes a. Constantine ceiling paintings that were found under the Trier Cathedral, liturgical vestments and implements, images of Christ and Mary, icons and exhibits of religious folk art that document the pilgrimages to the Holy Rock that have been taking place since 1512 .
