The Museum of Cinematography in Łódź (Polish: Muzeum Kinematografii w Łodzi ) is a museum in the Polish city of Łódź that has existed since 1976 and is the only institution of its kind in Poland , with collections of films, advertising posters, elements of scenography, technical devices, as well as documentation on the history of Polish cinematography .

Since 1986 the museum has been located in the Karol Scheibler Palace in the Księży Młyn industrial estate .

The collection contains around 1000 films on video and celluloid tapes, and a number of technical devices (old projectors, cameras) that show the long-term technological development. There is also a collection "60 Years of Polish Animation" with iconographic materials, puppets, elements of scenography, as well as arranged locations and equipment for film animation from our own holdings and a depository . The museum also has an original and working photoplasticon .
