Nadir Belhadj ( Arabic نذير بلحاج, DMG Naḏīr Bilḥāǧ ; * June 18, 1982 in Saint-Claude ) is an Algerian - French soccer player who has been playing for Al-Sailiya in Qatar since 2017 . He plays in the position of full-back .

Career

Belhadj began his professional career at RC Lens , where he was only used in the reserve team. Until his departure in 2003, he did not play a single game for the senior team. In 2002 he was awarded to the second division club FC Gueugnon , where he became a regular player. After the loan deal ended in summer 2003, Gueugnon bought the player. However, he only played one season with the Yellows before being bought by CS Sedan in 2004. With the Sangliers , he made it to Ligue 1 in 2006 .
