The Nasenfelstunnel is a 60 m long tunnel of the A 8 near Unterdrackenstein ( Baden-Württemberg , Germany ).

The two-lane Nasenfelstunnel with the Reichsautobahn section Kirchheim / Teck - Ulm-West (route 42) was opened to traffic on October 30, 1937, making it the oldest autobahn tunnel in Germany. Because of its short length, it has neither lighting nor ventilation systems.

Geographical location

The Nasenfelstunnel is part of the two-lane carriageway from Ulm to Stuttgart on the A8 on the Albabstieg .
