Neerstedt is a district and one of 15 farmers in the municipality of Dötlingen in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg .

The village, located five kilometers north of the center of Dötlingen, has 1,430 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2010).

The Hunte flows west, four kilometers away.

Point of interest Hexenstein

Witch stone

An archaeological sight is the witch stone in a field about 2 km northwest of the place ( location ). This is a huge boulder made of reddish Scandinavian granite , which is impressive due to its dimensions and was therefore previously called the “brede standing” (broad stone). The stone is anchored deep in the ground, so that the visible height (1.2 m) only shows a fraction of the actual dimensions of 4.71 m × 3.15 m. The boulder has three large and 38 smaller (partly natural) depressions on its surface and is therefore a bowl stone .
