action

The car dealer Al McCord meets Eleanor Rigby by chance in a restaurant, who asks him to drive her to her hometown in the Mojave Desert . There McCord meets Eleanor's mother Julie and her boyfriend Boyd, who live there in a mobile home. It also turns out that Eleanor has a friend, Kaiser, whom she meets in the saloon.

McCord's car doesn't work, he and Julie get closer. McCord later drives back to Los Angeles , where he finds Kaiser's body in the trunk. Surprisingly, Eleanor and then Julie visit him at home. They flee together from Boyd to a motel. McCord's car is stolen by a gang. But those flee when Kaiser, the supposed corpse, suddenly steps out of the trunk. Boyd manages to bring the two women back to the Mojave Desert and locks them up there.

McCord and his buddy Sal try to confront Boyd. Boyd can knock both of them out quickly. He stuffs her into a car with the two women and wants to let it fall down a cliff. McCord can intervene and instead Boyd falls down the slope with his cart.

Reviews

Harald Keller wrote in his book " Angelina Jolie " that Jolie used her eroticism for the first time in the film. The portrayal of Danny Aiello makes the character of Al McCord likeable.
