Nick Andries

Nicholas "Nick" Andries (born November 19, 1990 ) is an American racing driver .

Career

Andries began his motorsport career in karting in 2003 , where he remained active until 2008. Among other things, he won the TAG-WKA Florida Championship Series in 2007 . In 2010 Andries switched to formula racing . He started in the Skip Barber National Championship and won a race. At the end of the season he was in sixth place in the championship. He also joined the Star Mazda Series for Andersen Racing mid-season . With a sixth place as the best placement, he finished the season in 15th place. In 2011 Andries moved to Team Pelfrey within the Star Mazda Series . With four second and three third places, he was on the podium seven times, making him the driver with the most podium finishes. At the end of the season he was in third place. With 385 to 401 points he lost to his teammate Connor De Phillippi , who was runner-up.

In 2012 Andries took part in an Indy Lights race for Bryan Herta Autosport . He did not do any other racing this season.
