Nicolás Gaston Navarro (born March 25, 1985 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Nicolás Navarro began playing club football in the youth of Argentinos Juniors and was part of the professional team from 2004. Here he played until winter 2007 and then moved to the Italian first division club SSC Napoli . While he could still play regularly in his first season, he was sorted out in his second season and then loaned to the Argentine club River Plate .

In 2010 he moved back to his first club, Argentinos Juniors, and played here continuously for one season.

In the 2011/12 season he moved to Turkey for the Süper Lig club Kayserispor . Here he immediately became the first goalkeeper and made 29 league games in his first season.

National team

Navarro has been nominated three times for the Argentina U-20 national team. He took part in the Junior World Cup in 2005 and became world champion with his team. During the tournament he was a substitute goalkeeper and had no stakes.

In addition, he took part with the Argentine Olympic selection in the 2008 Olympic Games , he was not used. His team won the gold medal.
