Nikolai Wladimirowitsch Drosdezki ( Russian: Николай Владимирович Дроздецкий ; born June 14, 1957 in Kolpino , Russian SFSR , † November 24, 1995 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Russian ice hockey player .

Career

Drosdezki played for SKA Leningrad from 1974 to 1979 and 1986 to 1989 . In 1979 he moved to the then elite club HK CSKA Moscow . He stayed here until 1986, after which he went to Sweden until 1995 and played for Borås HC . In total, he scored 252 goals in 503 games in the Soviet league .

He was appointed to the Soviet national ice hockey team at an early age . On April 15, 1980 he was in a game against Finland for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with a gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics . For the national team, he scored 64 goals in 109 international matches. At the ice hockey world championships he was twice world champion with his team (1981 and 1982). In 1981 he was inducted into the " Russian Hockey Hall of Fame ". On May 3, 1986, he played his last international match.

He died of complications from his diabetes .
