Nina Willburger is a German Provincial Roman and Classical Archaeologist .

Nina Willburger studied classical and provincial Roman archeology and ancient history at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and was the work in 2002 The Roman wall painting in Augsburg at the University of Jena doctorate . After completing her traineeship, she became head of the division for Classical and Roman Provincial Archeology at the Württemberg State Museum in Stuttgart in 2003 . Here she is responsible for the collection of antiquities , the collection on the Romans in Württemberg and the Roman lapidarium . Since 2016, she has also been the head of the archeology department, succeeding Erwin Keefer . She supervised various special exhibitions, such as A Dream of Rome in 2014. Willburger is a member of the advisory board of the Society for Archeology in Württemberg and Hohenzollern and the advisory board of LIMESEUM Ruffenhofen and has been an external lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart since 2005 and since 2014 active at the University of Stuttgart .
