Nintendo Space World

The Nintendo Spaceworld ( Japanese : 任天堂 ス ペ ー ス ワ ー ル ド ), often just called Space World , is a trade fair held by Nintendo at irregular intervals . The last Spaceworld was held in 2001 and presented the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo GameCube .

The company decided by mid- July whether Nintendo would hold a Spaceworld in a year .

The venue was either Tokyo or Kyoto , where the company's headquarters are located.

Highlights

The highlight of Spaceworld, held in 1995, was the announcement of the Nintendo 64 . The first videos for titles like Super Mario 64 , GoldenEye 007 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time were shown.

Further trade fairs took place in 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001.
