history

The production of the MB 125 N, which belongs to the fourth post-war generation from Orenstein & Koppel and is the least powerful locomotive within this, lasted from 1970 to 1973. During this time, 18 locomotives were manufactured, most of which were ordered by German customers. Three locomotives went to the Netherlands , one each to Austria and Switzerland . MB 125 N locomotives were or are in use, among others, for Mannesmann , Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft , SCA Hygiene Products , Michelin , Rhenus-WTAG , HeidelbergCement and Thyssen Stahl .
