Oberlausitzer Verlag
The Oberlausitzer Verlag mainly deals with the regional history of southern Upper Lusatia , regional geography and geology as well as the publication of books in the Upper Lusatian dialect and customs . Cookbooks, non-fiction books and especially the legends of the region are also on the program. In addition, works of fiction, for example by the popular regional writer Annelies Schulz (* 1934 in Oppach ), who lives in Taubenheim / Spree , as well as biographies, children's and music books are published.
The publishing house was founded in 1989 by Frank Nürnberger in Waltersdorf and has been based in Dittelsdorf , a district of Zittau , since 2018 . In February 2014 Andreas Gerth took over the publishing house as owner.
